Hi all,

My sapphire rear calipers have seized AGAIN

I have come across a set of 3 door rear calipers but im not sure if they'll fit. Are the standard rear calipers the same for a 3 door, 2wd saff, 4wd saff and escort cossie?

4x4 sapphire calipers are a little wider than the 2wd versions to allow for a vented disc
time to get yours reconned

Im guessing that means more expensive?

Ive been told its not even worth going down the road of 2nd hand ones and a new set are about £100 each...

You might as well just get some new calipers mate. The 4x4 calipers r wider as above cause of the vented discs.

Nah, I phoned Ford the other day for one £104 each in exchange for your old one. You have to leave a £15 deposit which is refunded once you bring them the old ones back!!

Im sure u can get the cheaper from a local motor factors.
