Default Sapphire Value pics inside.

My granddad has had this car since nearly new, but now wants to sell to get an auto. Just wondered what it's worth as the car is very very clean, would the car have any value as a re-shell?? It's a k plate with the 2l twin cam, mot and taxed, anyway i will let the pics do the talking.

Could you not keep the original number plate but transfer the engine/running gear from a scrap cosworth into it? What do you think it's worth??

Ł500 ono at best. Not what he wants to hear if it's his pride and joy but that's life. On eBay 99p and no reserve, hope it makes Ł300 or Ł400.

its a shame he wants to sell her, VERY CLEAN as you said.
if it was mine i'd hold on to her, but i think your best bet is to bring her to a some shows and have the FORSALE signs on her, you never know you just might get the money you are looking for it...
regards paddy

I know, I think Cossie shells must have been made out of the cheapest nastiest pig iron they could find

Looks very nice, ideal to use as a re-shell for someone who isn't too fussy about what it says on the log book and just wants a good, clean, solid car

Nice to see you've kept it as it should be and not turned it into a Cosworth look a like

Looks very clean, interesting plate too, not too many digits away from the Pacifica Blue Cosworth owned by Ford

Cheers fella, making a cosworth replica never crossed my mind with it, i think it would have spoilt a good car, it was bought as a runaround to drive as it was and then ocd kicked in, it had a rust bleb to the arches and sill backs, scuffs to the bumpers so it got arches and a respray, lots of other work to make it 100% again
