Default Has anyone ever bent their main shaft

Just had my box rebuilt on my 2wd as the syncros were worn, put the box back in and found i was still having trouble getting 4th gear. Spoke to the company who rebuild the box and the were at a lost why.

Took the box back out and took it back to them and then they called me back after about an hour or so............... Oh no

The main shaft was bent........

However the nice guys at beagle engineering stripped it re aligned it and rebuilt it back up. I have put it in this morning and its mint best its ever been

As anyone ever heard of this and how is it possble and a big thank you for the guys an Beagle Engineering

Dave they replaced the syncros and shimmed the bearings as the box was not in that bad condition or so i thought any way. they charged me Ł200 and it took about two weeks, but they were waiting for the for the syncros week or so

If you look an the shaft which the prop slides on to and rotated it you could see it moving up and down as it was turning
