E200APU is in my bodyshop having a restoration.I'll talk to the owner and tell him to get in touch,E21TYD i think it is,is a lad called derek always does national day on track,it has revolution 5spokes 16"in black and is 500bhp spec,cheers

cheers in advance over E200APU , how long has that been in your body shop as we have spoke before , about a 500 being restored in your shop ? , in the how many 500's left thread .

No 006 is in a bad way at present , but i am assured by the owner that there is a full restoration on the way .

your right Paul there are some un loved cars on there , but they are still with us and maybe 1 day the owners will put some love into them and bring them back to there former glory ..

thats the million dollar Question , i cant answer it , and i dont know who can , all i can do is keep on looking and collecting data and pics , i have 1 or 2 on record .

is there no way of doing a check with the dvla 2 see how many r regustred ?? at least that would give u an idear how many r still knocking about!

i doubt the DVLA would give such information to joe public mate , and not all the cars are in the uk .

just another idear what about getting preformance ford and fast ford ( and maby redline as i know that lot r on here) 2 do a pice on your work and ask them 2 but a pice in about getting in touch with u if there r other 500 owners out there that arnt on the list!

no mate your not a pain at all you share a passion for what is a awesome marque ..

there was a link into my web site in last months Fast Ford , i did get a few owners contact me from that article ..

i am currently putting down on paper so to speak a article for the rsoc mag rallye news , then onto the full publications like FF and PF

in the main i get the cars from being out and about at the shows , also Ive been a rsoc member and Rs500 owner for many years so i know a lot of the owners..

some cars are passed onto me by friends of friends , but i follow all leads up with emails phone calls to the owners direct ..

all cars on the database (pics) are with the owners consent , or the previous owners consent..

a friend of my dad owned a black rs500 E reg 1 of the last made and it used 2get serviced by a peterhead garage up in scotland every 6 month and1 day it got a service and they were drillin the fuel tank becuz it had a leak and sum1 in the pit next 2 him was weldin.......BOOM! the rs5 got burnt to a crisp and it was immaculate on 17" tsw hokienhiem R's was the most beautiful car ive ever seen but was such a sad day!!

the help one in pic 12 looks like the one from the ford showroom, i think its the motorsport heritage one, as it looks like the rs1700t next to it, so it could also be malcom wilson cos i believe he has a blue one of them too

also e649dtt has just turned up on ebay, no build no in the ad though
