hmmm........price seems abit cheap, wouldnt expect them to be the same as oe vavles, i bruoght brand new inlet and exhaust valves direct from cosworth an the price was 2 too 3 times of those.
ask if they are sodium filled.
ask if they are sodium filled.

I have asked them this in the past, they said we are not willing to confirm this!!
I can assure you they are NOT SODIUM FILLED, as this is a very expensive process, sodium being a metal that melts at 96C, inside the valve.
Use at your peril, inlet may well be ok but NOT exhaust ones from these, just had mine done and inlets were VAUXHALL ONES which even after a slight amount of machining were cheaper, exhausts were genuine though, but NOT from cosworth, as they don't and never have made them.

many other various parts DIRECTLY from the COSWORTH MANUFACTORYING PLANT.
ill take a pic of the invoice and post it up. i would email or ring them an
ask for a guy called Jeremy Scott.
atlest then you know your getting the genuine articals not some cheap rip off.

This will be like the LOTUS GENUINE PARTS, bought in from suppliers and repackaged, in LOTUS PACKS, with resultant PRICE HIKE.
Does COSWORTH make headgaskets ?, no outside source does to their spec, are WRC headgaskets made by MOUNTUNE ?, no they are made in GERMANY to spec specified.
Does this mean they are not genuine ?, up to you to decide ?
tabetha
COSWORTH perfected a CASTING TECHNIQUE whereby MOLTEN METAL is kept out of the air until it has solidified, thereby eliminating gas pockets and other flaws, they did this at their WORCESTER PLANT.
The likely hood ot cossie making their own valves is very very remote as they can buy in the ones they want, so no tooling needed.
A cossie engine is a lump of metal like others, there are better ones, such as a lot of jap stuff, ask them for example how many head gaskets they do!!
