Default ABS LIGHT

The abs light is on on my 4x4 saph cossie i think one of the sensors need a clean ive got my mot coming up if i disconect the bulb from the back of the clocks so thers no light will it pass or do i need to sort the sensor

no mate will deff fail must go off within 60 secs (you could wire it up to the oil light)

Correct Light(abs) function is part of the MOT, and has to be done in accordance with the manufacturers instructions which they have immediate access to online.

i was lookin behind my dash the other day only 2 finf my abs light has been hard wired 2 the oil light

Looks like ive been drivin round 4 2years with faulty abs

Why dont people fix the problem instead of going 4 an easy fix,

Take the sensors out and clean the area around where they are mounted. This work a treat on my last Sapphire and the light illuminating was down to a poor connection on the sensor to hub face

Cossie ABS is primitive, and better avoided.
