Default 4X4 wont rev

Has anyone got an idea why my 4X4 gets to round the 4000 revs mark sometimes less and starts to cough and strugle asthougth its not geting enough fuel or something

have you changed the fuel filter recently .. i had exactly the same and buggered around for ages ...
also look at the 3 connectors accross the bulkhead at the back of the engine .. pull em all apart and plug em back together a few times .. but don't use wd40 on em ...

Yeh check the fuel filter i had loads me problems with mine cutting out n not starting again.Changed fuel filter n its been cock on ever since.

I had a clogged FUEL FILTER on mine even though it had been on rolling road and made good power it was clogged as when I changed it got all the low down power back, did not affect top end at all!!
I would also look at clsing plug gaps up incase coil is on way out, in which case a group a would be a good bet, improved mine no end.

If that doesnt help get the fuel pipes from the tank up to the engine checked, happened 2 mine and it was a kink in the pipe, enuff fuel at normal driving conditions but lean when on boost!!!
