Battery clamps tight? Could also check for loose earth points.

cleaned all the earths in the engine bay, battery is holding 13.4volts

car starts fine on jump leads off another car, with the engine running the battery is 14.5v so im guessing battery and charging circuits are fine

stop the engine, and again wont start everything dies, stats fine again off jump leads so give it a drive up and down the drive

ABS and traction light come on at 5mph and go off again when stopped, car still wont start off its own battery :S

Have you tried a different battery? As you say it starts ok but still could have a dry cell or something that could be causing lack of current. I would try another just to eliminate it.
