I need a water pump ford focus rs mk1,genuine ford is too expensive 460 pounds,what recomend me? one in ggr,woodford garaje,matt lewis...,or genuine?

in what way do they differ to a normal 1.8/2l focus one? can't really imagin them being any different unless theres a take off for the water cooled turbo???

maybe you could modify a standard one. of course though i might be competely wrong.

anyone else got any ideas?

The rs ones has diffrent flow rates and no other is high enought for the rs so you will need a genuine one unless you want to risk your engine!

ive had a 1.8 and rs waterpump next to each other and personally dont believe theres a difference to be sure speak to Ian Howell at area six hes built loads of high power zetec turbos and will tell you for sure!

The RS pump is visibly bigger than a standard one, on an RS things like the PAS pump are mounted on spacers to clear the water pump casing.

Not a cheap part but there aren't any real alternatives, comes with buying something needing low-volume unique parts.
