A few queries. 99' 1.8 Zetec
I'm getting a knocking noise from the front and rear suspension going over bumps. I've been told it could be ARB droplinks, how do I check if the are worn? Could it be bushes or mounts of some sort?
I'm getting a noise proportianate to road speed, hard to explain the noise, its low pitched, thats all I can say. Possibly early sign of bearing failure, or drive shaft related? Any way of checking if either is worn?
Also when the clutch is released in neutral, a noise is noticeable, but the biting point is fairly low, any ideas?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

ARB droplinks for the knocking / creaking, reach in behind the wheel and give it a good shake if it creaks then deffo droplinks.
Wheel bearing, common prob, Focus likes to eat them.
Prob thrust bearing, just guessing though.
I've got a 98 1.8 zetec and have had both rear bearings done and the front droplinks. Think the droplinks were 16.00 each and cant remember the price of wheel bearings.
