ESP warning light stuck on - 2006 Fiesta ST
Hi all,
I've had the ESP light on my 2006 ST stuck on & I can't turn it off with the button on the dash above the stereo.
I've been told by a mechanic it's the ABS and to get rid of it I need the pump replacing, which I don't believe.
I called Ford and they said it's likely to be a fault with the system / the ESP sensor.
Anyone know what this is? Obviously the ESP doesn't kick in if I wheel-spin, but I know the ABS works fine.
Obviously don't want to fork out for a new pump and if would be good to know if there is an easy fix!
Thanks in advance

Hi Oldford,
I've been given given "C1288 Brake pressure sensor circuit failure main/primary input"
Even though the ABS works fine and it's the ESP that is stuck off.
I've been told to check the steering wheel angle (reset) know if this is easily done?
