depends if if its making power still no point reving it that high if makes no power after 7k, ive never reved mine to 7.5k and i had loads of problems with standard parts. mines 7.2k limiter now i think

These days I don't think it matters what block you use, they are all very prone to cracking with big power.

Got a price from smith and Jones for 1.5 million.


That's only first quote mind

Will get three others first lol

Was going to email some of the American firms as they seem to real cheap

It's really pot luck, some will hold together at 300bhp other let go at only 200bhp, obviously the higher you go the more chance there is.

Owel I will just go zetec if it cracks haha. Can I ask what experience you have off lightned flywheels on cvh?

Doing mtx conversion and planning billet 4.5 kg flywheel ( they are made to order so they told me they can drill crack holes only for 10mm rather than 11mm which will save a little hastle aswel
