Default repairing a series one body kit.

I have bits missing on my front arches where the poprivits go through at the front of the arches. Is there any way of fixing them? I have tried plastic welding a series one arch before and I know that when heated it turns into a brown liquid type substance. Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers mark

wen i did mine i used stuff called smc. not sure whats in it but its easy to sand and is still very flexible when set.to do the rivet holes i ground the kit down so a suitable sized washer would fit then used the smc stuff to build up around the hole leaving the washer enclosed in the kit. then rub away till it looks like it should. i put the washer in to add strength when itwas riveted back to the car. just to add i would try and use proper rivets if possible. iwouldnt risk using the rivets off ebay even with the extra strength. there are a few other techniques people have used on the series one forum

. i rubbed the kit away from the back till there was a recess, put the washer in then filled over with the repair stuff. then sanded back to level out with the rest of the kit. this meant that the washer is embedded in the the kit but not visible.sandwiched between the repair filler either side is maybe a better description. hope that makes sense.
