wen i did mine i used stuff called smc. not sure whats in it but its easy to sand and is still very flexible when set.to do the rivet holes i ground the kit down so a suitable sized washer would fit then used the smc stuff to build up around the hole leaving the washer enclosed in the kit. then rub away till it looks like it should. i put the washer in to add strength when itwas riveted back to the car. just to add i would try and use proper rivets if possible. iwouldnt risk using the rivets off ebay even with the extra strength. there are a few other techniques people have used on the series one forum
