Default Braided brake lines from the Master Cylinder

Hi guys. Fitting cossie 4 pots on the front of my S2 and deleting the ABS modulators. Seeing as how I'll need to have new brake pipes made up I was thinking of running a line from the master cylinder to a t piece and then to front brakes. Was going to do the same with the rear with an inline bias valve. Planning on using AN-3 braided line and stainless fittings throughout. Does this sound about right to people or should I run separate lines from the MC to each front brake and then a single line to the rear? Also will braided line throughout be suitable or should I run copper/steel piping instead.

Cheers,
Nos.

I was watching a race car is bourne on tv once and they was doing the brakes on this car. A guy from ap was there as they were fitting big ap brakes. The guy said as much as possible needs to be in a solid pipe like copper then stainless braided where it has to move and join the calipers

This is my understanding too, the braided lines will swell a little still and should be avoided where possible in favour of copper.

I am about to splurge a load of dosh on fittings, pipe straightener, pipe bender and nipple former so that I can do mine nicely, it is a pain but needs to be done.

I agree, use hard pipe where possible for a better pedal feel and overall braking.

Thanks for the replies lads, I thought as much. I'll probably just stick with the standard brake line set up and get some braided hoses sorted out for just the front calipers then

In theory yes use hard lines.

In real terms the pedal feel is not that different. I have braided lines from servo direct to calipers using compensators inline. Works lovely looks great.

On my other track car again I have braided lines this time inside the car with adjustable bias control and line lock as its rwd.
