Im replacing my Temp sender as its giving very erratic readings since my stat gave up the ghost.

Ive just received this;;



and im wanting to check its the right one, as there seem to be a few different coloured ones floating around ebay, google images etc.

You basically want to have the same band as the one you removed. Tho most floating about seem to be red band these days. IME the gauges are so innacurate it doesn't make a huge difference anyway

Thats confirmed what I thought. Cant be that much difference, as its just a temp sensor.
I would like some sort of 'close enough' readings though
