Spaghetti junction
Hey there folks , I have a 1990 escort rs turbo with a zvh conversion , it's running efi someone else done the conversion . Now I'm not to sure what's going on because I have what looks to be un used wiring down behind the NS headlight connectors ect and wiring behind the engine , now I'm not 100% sure but it looks like 2 different looms have been used for this conversion . So my plan is to get rid off all this , and just run another loom anyone no what loom is best and simple for zvh efi ?? Thanks in advance

What management is it running?
If it's OFAB/OFAC and you want a completely new loom go for an XR3i EFi loom.
From the sounds of it, the person that converted the car used a stand alone engine loom to run the EFi but left the MFi loom in place. Nothing wrong with that other than it's messy.
You could just tape it all back out of sight?

Not really sure if it's a fire hazard tbh, As said above it will be the MFI loom, Mine is still there too as the previous owner who done the conversion on my escort just ran the loom independantly of the MFI loom, You are best taping it back to be honest as you risk cutting something that might still be getting used, temp sensor, Gauges etx

If you want a complete loom yes. There was a guy that had a batch of brand new XR3i EFi looms on ebay.
If I were going to tidy it up I'd be more inclined to unwrap the old car loom, cut out anything that's not needed any more (trace outward from the old ECU connectors), re-cover it and keep the current "EFi loom" as a seperate loom.
