Default help!!!!! bad earth

Hi people... i have a series 1 and its tickovers a bit lumpy but ive
Just noticed when i put ignition on the pump primes which is
Obviously normal but i flash my lights after to check the bulbs
And when i do its kicking the fuel pump in... question 1 would
This cause bad running... question 2 ive checked most earths
And all look to be ok so what next!!!

What did you check? You measured the resistance or you just looked if the connectors were clean on the earth points?

Tbh just looked at the earth points... its been off road for winter since october and this just happened...

This is not necessarily an earthing problem. For your fuel pump to engage something will be causing the fuel pump relay to energise. Unplug the fuel relay and get your multimeter out. My first guess would be several wires are somehow shorting together due to insulation breakdown.

Ok will do... i have put a series 2 inlet on it with the sandwich plate and extended the studs and fits fine.. the reason for this is it was a chrome one... there are no air leaks but do u think this could be my running problems... ??
