Default uprated fan switch

been looking for an uprated fan switch, as my fan comes on like just before it hits the red on the temp gauge on the dash.

msd don't sell them anymore

ebay don't have them at all

burton power don't sell them

i spoke with someone who suggested a cossie fan switch, i found a link here

i have a lower temp thermo stat ready now need a fan switch, whats your thoughts fellas?

view images by product type,

switches

temperature radiator fan switches

should give you pics of all the switches they do yo ucan then click on them and see the thread sizes,temp ranges n/o or n/c etc

not sure what your current wiring loom plug is but I fitted a 50200 to my mk3 as standard I think it was a 50000

just had a look at fan switches on there, Auto specialists, theres nothing on that site!

There is no need for one mate, a CVH should sit around 90 degree's once up to temperature, if you get a 86 degree switch your fan will just be on all the time, the stock temperature is fine.

Karlos is right, you don't need a lower temp switch really. If you are really worried, fit a standard one from a Series 1, it rated lower than the Series 2.

well i have a 82deg thermostat now and a cossie fan switch, would it be a good thing to improve it with these additions to make it runner cooler than it does?
