fuel pump fitments different
just wondering why the fitment i see on my fuel pump is like a banjo and bolt washer and nut positive and negative while other pumps i seen like on motorsport developments etc ate the yellow and black plugs??
did ford do it this way or is it aftermarket fitment by users cause the pumps are cheaper?

i fitted a replacement fuel pump to my mondeo which was from ford and i had to change the pipework as they revised the fittings
the pumps new, the pipe that goes into it from the engine return is old
so it's not just that it's unusual, it can happen when a better solution is found when you didn't think you had a problem in the first place

hello, i spoke to matt lewis motorsport and he confirmed that its the original ford fitment the yellow and black. I took the Andrew Page bosch 941 pump back today, cost over £100, seen some nice ones on ebay like this its cheaper, and just need some thoughts on the matter, 5 bar is standard psi, what you think?
