fuel sender where can i get one, do i need one
was thinking of changing the fuel tank on my rs as it has a fuel issue when under half and loses fuel under hard cornering so not sure if its the correct tank with the swirl pot, so can get one trade price.
I am however having issues finding a fuel sender unit for a mk4 rat 90 spec.
could use the same one on a new tank.
it might not even be the tank and sender unit after searching some others have fuel issues when cornering i.e. roundabout and lose fuelling.
your help would be very useful, I'm well aware i could go with the cheap option making sure its always full!!!

so its the swirl pot you reason, can i fix the existing one, hows it something that fails, is it like a cup which holds a certain amount of fuel?
can i use the same fuel sender as I'm struggling for a new one

I bought a tank for my rs turbo so they said but when i got it on my car kept stalling when braking and cornering,so i took it off and looked inside and there was no swirl pot in it.not happy at this time.so i took it back but would not refund as i had contaminated it with fuel.even more not happy now.so i sourced a used rs turbo original and looked inside and hey a swirl pot works fine now.as to your fuel sender is it the small one or the large one as u would have to get a tank with that size hole.hope tgis helps
