Engine........help!!!!
God this car does me head in at the min
Any body got any ideas what could be causing theae problems??
1. Start the car up its fine, Drive the car a few 100meters and it trys to stall.
2. Start the car again its fine let it idle for a few mins then it starts to smoke (blue/white smoke)
3. rev the car (above 3k) when sitting still and when the revs return they drop right down to about 200 and trys to stall.
Any help would be great and dreding having to have a rebuild jst cant afford in at the min.
Thanks very much in advance!!!!

Blue smoke means oil burning so turbo, headgasket or valve seals...
White means water so head gasket, head itself...
So I would say head gasket failure when your engine warm the failure increase and then it admit more water or oil so start to stall...
Do you have oil in your header tank? mayo in your oil?
Water or oil consumsion?
Changing the head gasket is'nt a full rebuilt so you may have consider it.
wait for other comments anyway...

blue white is oil and water so its either head gaskett or the turbo ? is it not driveable ? if not i would say turbo but not 100% as when i had the dreaded white smoke it was a tired head and gaskett rebuilt the head and fitted a new gaskett and all was fine (for a while pmsl) then it melted a piston get it checked out at a engine speacilists better safe than sorry as its cost me a fortune to get her sorted just a few pointers
