Who still has ALL original paint on there escos?
Just wondered as i went to look at one yesterday and the owner told me he had had it fully resprayed, which kinda put me off but it was mint. After that he told me that his mates escos had both its rear quater panels resprayed to freshen it up, saying most cossies have had new paint!!
Whats peoples thoughts on spraying parts of or even all of an escos??
Thanks guys.

Dont see the problem providing its not hiding anything;I have had my bonnet and bumper and front wings done a few times due to stone chips and I have toyed with the idea of a full paint but it just doesn't need it.
so be careful, make sure its not hiding damage and be pleased that it has a top paint job

My paint is currently original but all of the plastic parts are getting a re-spray soon. Mostly because of stone chips but the upper bi-wing because some knuckle-head used the rear wiper to scrap the support post

I've been told from the Danish Escos Motorsport owners, that the paint from Ford is terrible so it might be better to get a resprayed one if you are looking at a white Escos Motorsport??

My esc has original panels and paint. It's white so does hide stone chips well.I'm the 3rd owner and personally know the previous 2 who can confirm the paint is original.

I looked at loads when buying mine, all had paint somewhere, and loads had panel gaps like the grand canyon.
Mines in for front bumper today as the nuggets fitting the new alarm bashed it into the wall.

Mines been done by the previous owner. It was Graham from GRS's car and he put a lot of love into it. Had it redone because it wasn't right.
It needs a freshen up around the front arches and I caught the rear quarter with an umbrella so there's a dirty scratch that needs sorting

i had a full repaint last year by a excellent bodyshop not to hide anything just to freshen it up as the oprevious owner never polished it in the 4yrs they owned it i dont think and it was full of stone chips and little scratches and the odd ding here and there looks like a new car now
heres a pic sure youll agree its a good job

Good painters are far and few between unfortunately .I've seen cars repainted with terrible results. There is spraying a car and there is finishing in to perfection.I've seen sinkage, dirt in the paint, orange peel finishes, the list goes on It really is a big decision to get a car painted because of a few stone chips.
