Default some sort of pump?

Had me back bench out the other day and found some sort of pump (i think) attached to floor, its got 2 chunky pipes goin in and a small one goin to floor with a filter on end. does any body know what it is

Think its water injection and there is normaly a bag in the boot, which was only on the first big turbo escos models mate. Mark

Its a 92 so could be, one of the pipes is folded back and tied up ie blocked off, where would the water have come from i havent seen a tank, are they after market ad ons

One of the experts will no better mate but as far as i know it was put there as the first cars had to be the same as the rally cars, the water tanks/bags were in from new mate but never used.

Funny u mention that, the lad i bought it of said he was told sommat about some water bags but didnt know what he was on about, only had the car 2 weeks and findin out about em bit by bit, upgrade from a stg 3 sapph 2wd

there should be a pump under both sides of the rear seat... one fed the other to boost the pressure, and they are in fact the exact same pump as the one used for the headlamp washer jets - which is nice 2 brand new spares
