HELP with Fan wiring..............
Can someone please explain how the OEM fans should be wired?
Is it live to the fans > fans to the switch > switch back to the fans
and obviously when the temp rises the switch opens and makes the circuit????
Or is it a 2 stage switch?? Does it go to a relay??
I could do with seeing a proper diagram really.....
At somepoint my cars had a manual switch wired in which im trying to remove, but its a headache working out what other people have done??

There ARE 2 relays behind the battery. One is Fan and the other heated screen. The fans on an Escort Cosworth are speed controlled by the 5 pin switch in the radiator. I have ford drawings if you need em.

My final answer is still 4... The only way I remember is because the multi plug broke off mine so I had to work out what pins were what... knowing me im talking about a different plug. It was the one that screwed into bottom of radiator. I dont know much about cars so I wouldnt listen to me really
