mongoose fit well and sound well, however the magnex is more of a copy of the original in stainless and slightly larger bore..
emmisions wise, done think mongoose do a cat back it s afull turbo back system with no cat.
you could always say its had an engine from a 1990 4x4 saph fitted....

I have a magnex with the bigger tailpipe, it fits well and sounds just right for me. You also have a bit more ground clearance with the magnex. I wouldnt even get mine on the drive if i had anything else.

but S1RST is spot on with the advice about clearance as the magnex one was very good, I now have to be careful on some sloping drives and thin speed bumps

I have a complete Magnex exhaust, and made a CAT replacement for that pipe.
It's quite simple, just replace the last piece from the exhaust (tailpipe piece) for a CAT and job done! The only thing is, you need to drive the car for about 20min. minimal otherwise the CAT is not in full working temperature.
It works superb, and passes the MOT (in The Netherlands we call it APK)

i was speaking to the magnex sales director who told me (unoficially) that they make mongoose exhausts, with mongoose machines, which aint as good as the magnex ones, meaning magnex exhausts are a better fit, and come with fitting kits, which mongoose dont....
