Upper rear spoiler
Thought I'd try my hand at this, I am hoping the whole thing doesn't go bad,& wind up in a slag-fest. 's just out of interest & I am aware that other people's opinions are as valid as mine.
So which looks better on an Escort Cosworth - upper rear spoiler on or off? Or would you rather have a WRC style?

On. Although they still look pretty good without one, its a part of the car that makes it what it is, and what gets it noticed. Obviously if you want the subtle look, then take it off.
An escort cosworth is not one without it in my opinion.

Wolf lip thingy? I know a man that might know so I'll ask him.
Mine was built without the upper rear spoiler BTW.
As for German, er, only when it pees 'em off.

Nice piccie of what you want on the yellow Escort Cosworth on wolf's site but nowhere under Escort to buy 1. Try contacting them via the site, maybe they have 1 on stock somewhere.

I think definately on. Off makes the car look too subtle (more like an RS2000). The big wing makes it what it is IMO. Personally I think the WRC spoilers look very chavvy and go against the lines of the car..

The WRC one has MORE down-force as well as at the same time having LESS drag than the original item, so it wins on both counts. Only problem is, with one fitted, a rear view mirror is redundant .
Also the reason they are banned in some countries is due to the concern that if you run over a pedestrian, and they go over the roof, that the rear spoiler will inflict even further damage and also mean they fall from a greater height when they hit the tarmac the other end . However, I feel it is somewhat optimistic in believing they'd not already be fucked before they got that far .
