Orange Cossy gets first road test......
This one only took my boy 1 day to build...not bad, he's only 9. It has taken me 4 years to do mine, so he rubbed it in, by taking it out on Boxing day for a spin. He bounced it off a few kerbs, but it is pretty fast. Good colour match aswell.

Gonna have to get my Focus out. Got a repsol body still uncut in the box which I bought for the focus chassis. Might finally do that if I can be arsed

parma motors like pink etc long been gone mate, they do come up on ebay sometimes.
but motors are far more advanced now, and there are some very fast motors for car park bashing etc that can be had for 15quid etc
i know the tt01 chassis, couple of guys used to race them at my local club,
are they tamiya shells though?

What motor is a good one to get without having to upgrade the battery?
Also should I leave the gearing as it is, or f**k about with it??

gear the pinion size down a bit, say 3 or 4 teeth less and fit a 12x2 or 14x2 motor
this one for example is an excellent motor just released...
12x2

14x2

thinking about i'd prob best go for a 14x2 to go a bit easier on the gearbox
