I think the most that should be fitted should be 19's. 20's would look stupid especially with the way some people think with tyre widths over there..
Look, I just got 7x20 wheels 205-30-20 tyres haha

20's would ruin the handling wouldn't they? I know alot of people have said that 19's are too big for optimum handling really!

20's is OTT like already said. It's like people fitting 18/19's to saxo's / corsa's etc etc, they look shit, drive shit and they never just '' fit ''

19's is the max i rekon for an Ecos, with 18's been just right. Im sure duncans car will look stunning as always, but i bet it doesnt drive nice

would love to see some pics of an esc cos with 20,s
but as said i think 19,s look more than good enough imo.
i had a honda civic at work the other day (old shape) with 19,s on and it looked stupid to be honest, they just looked way to big for the car plus they catched like fook when i drove it in

dunc, if you put them on will you be going 5 stud? are there any nice 20"wheels available that are 4 stud pattern, all the ones ive seen are 5stud?

Will have to wait and see if i fit them to the escort as they will bolt straight on to the focus and with a 20mm spacer they will fit the escort as for the rims them self they look a bit like L3COS racing harts but at the moment are silver with a nice polished dished rim, but i want them to be the same colour as my racing harts.
As for the ride and handling i dont care about that because they will be a show rim only as i have a nice set off 18" mo`s with road legal slicks on for when i want to have some fun
I still like my racing harts very much but as you might know one off them was damaged when i took delivery and i have been waiting over a year for a replacement, these 20" rims are the replacement lol
Still waiting for tyres to turn up for them and i need to sort them out to be painted as well, o well theres allways next year.

go for it mate,

what a load of bollox 19's dont make a blind bit of difference, i went from standard wheels with coilovers to 19's with the same suspension on the exact same settings and i couldnt notice any changes

go for 20's mate it will be different
