rear speakers

rear speakers
want to change rear speakers in car and wanted to know if there is a conversion product to change them to 6x9 or is ther only a 13.5 inch one and also what speaker to put in there? cheers for any help

there is a kit somewhere, however i did make a metal bracket for mine was very tricky and fiddly tho but it works

I went the easy way and sourced a mint set of rear shelves to keep in storage and modified the ones in the car by drilling holes 9could only get 3 drilled as the size of 6x9's will only match up to 3, but is more than enough to hold them in place.
I can get pics up if you like..
All you can see on the top of the shelf is the very small black bolt head and doesnt look an eye sore.

WJY NOT JUST GET THE BRACKETS (doh, caps lock!) that allow you to fit bigger speakers in the standard position? - thats what i've got in mine, looks factory, and you still get much better sound quality and fill to the rear

car audio centre sells them, BUT IMO the sound quality is better out of 6x9's

I've got 6x9's in the rear of mine. I made adaptors from thin MDF which I painted black.
I fitted them by first fixing the MDF adaptor to the original mounting points then screwed the 6x9's to the MDF.
