ive got this electrical componant that came with a mk4 escort, never seen one before and dunno what its for, any ideas?

Had many rst's/xr3's/xr3i's never seen that before and also stripped a few back to bare shells and rebuilt and never seen them lol does look like an aerial amp though

red/white wire from back of car stereo connects to the skinny spade,,
big plugs go to the copper strip in mk4`s back screen,
bigger spade will be for demist wire
