Default Mk3Ghia rear brake conversion

hi

I know its not a rs1600i but I thought this forum was the closest match for my Ghia

I want to put disks on the back of my car to replace the drums. I need as much detailed info and help from you guys as possible

Ive found a list of equiptment I will need, could you go over it and confirm\add anything\suggest any alternitives:

Sierra XR4x4 Rear Callipers
Sierra XR4x4 Rear Discs & Pads
Escort MK5/6 2.0ltr DOHC Hand Brake Cable
Lengthend Brake Hoses
some 'Mystry' Adaptor Brackets. I need to find a supplyer and more info on these.

Anyway anything you can add on the subject would be greatly
appreacited

sure have m8:

really bad pic. The door\front wing look odd because of the flash is hitting one of the trims and not the rest. Rest assured they are nice and stright The rear arch looks like a bleeding monster truck as the photo was taken seconds after removing the grandad wheels and fitting the s2 wheels I got today (suspenion hadnt settled yet), Oh and theres no lights or grill in as they are on my bedroom floor. But you get the idea

freshly repainted grill, some aftermarket fogs (if they look shit ill dump um) and my newley painted headlights.. they were all beige and nasty so I molested um

Ive only had it a few days, so nothing major has been done yet just some mild tweaking to make it look a bit more respectable to drive and fixed some silly problems. I have an rs1600i rear spoiler in the post, im on the look out for a front one, got some clear indercators as well.

Going to keep it real and leave the ghia badges on the front wings, there will be no need to be ashamed when im finished with her brakes will be done at the end of the month (rear conversion and s2 fronts) and a stainless steel zorst pretty soon.

Other than the knackered dash the car is in amazing condition.
Before I butchered it I had a random person come upto me and say so and the MOT geeza really loved it

Will be cool when finished m8. Just the kind of motor I like to see. Bit different and will possibly end up a bit of a sleeper?

Don't bother with the rear disc's m8, just fill a sack with ballast and chuck it out the window, watch out for old lady's though!

Keep up the good work (and banter)

I have a spare front spoiler somewhere - but its sort of tucked away for when I trash the front end on an event If your stuck by the time you need to finish the project just remember me
