My new rsi
Assome of you know after the rolling road day
i waS leaving to go to ireland to look at some rs cars
well after a 6hr ferry trip and a 1 hr drive in a car
transporter we finally arrived in county antrim
northern ireland. any way to cut a long story short
we came across a rsi REG A22 XBB in white.
This car had been in ireland for about 18mnths
previously residing in yorkshire but only shown at the 95
nat day and 1 show at cumbria before being lost.
Any way the car was only ever taxed for its 1st year of
life and only mot twice. The mileage on the car is a genuine
1900mls.So it is now going to be my winter project
to clean it up (not restore)and get it ready to show
in the 2004 season,as i am relativley new to the rsi
scene any help would be greatly appreciated.
Iam sure mr alan cox will post some photos of the car soon
for you to see.So that is my winter taken care of
see you all soon

I know ur new car well, I seen it at our regional show over here in northern ireland both this year and last year. It is as was said top drawer stuff and will require very little cleaning as it was very well looked after by it's last owner.
Anyhow best of luck with the car and i hope to see it again soon!!
Arfur.
P.S As far as i'm aware LEV632Y is for sale as well.

Yes you are quite right the car has been well
looked after,.But i am sorry to say that i am an
extremley fussy person, so all the underseal that is
on the car has got to come off. That is going to be a
long job. Imust also say how well we were looked
after in ireland as it was my first trip over the water
and everybody very helpful, thankyou.
cheers

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
Wow, that really is one of a kind, bet it even smells new!! Wonder what the story is behind it though, because if I brought a brad new RSi, I would definately use it and stick some miles on it!!! Nice a few weren't though! Thats a true gem, very nice mate and well done.
I'd personally leave the underseal though, personally I think they look funny with painted under arches, but thats personnel preference i suppose! Very nice well done

Jason, i look forward to the shows and having a
laugh with you, because all it is is a fun weekend.
And dont get to worried i have seen swp and i know
i am in for some stiff competition.Ididnt intend to
buy a 1600i but how could i let this car slip away.
Iam glad to be out of the cossie scene because no
body is interested in helping anybody else but with
the 1600i brigade it is totally different.
Anyway must go now got work to do
happy cleaning

LEV was restored by Mr F to a very exceptional standard has only covered approx 200 miles since it was brought over to ireland, can't remember the exact mileage though. An ad has been placed in rallye news with prices phone numbers if anyone has a copy at hand, i'm in work or i'd put the info up for you!!
