Mk2 fiesta 4x4 cosworth.
I decided to break this car but before I start taking it apart I thought it's worth seeing if anyone wants it. I am keeping the engine and management but apart from that it's complete ready to put a engine in.
I've priced it at £9000 just because it would cost a hell of a lot more to build it to the same spec. Pictures to follow very soon.
Mk2 fiesta shell converted to take cosworth running gear using full floor pan and suspension turrets. Multipoint weld in roll cage,door bars, roof bars, linked in to suspension turrets and stitch welded to shell via a pillars etc. Custom one off wide arches made on this car with xr2 body kit extensively modified to fit. Polycarb Windows and new carbon fibre bonnet.
Gaz coil overs all round and Ahmed bayjoo 6 degree ream beam.
6 pot ap breaks with floating discs on front, standard on rear.
7.5x17 comp mo wheels with nearly new toyo r888r's
Bara straight cut gearbox, 7.5inch gripper rear diff, front diff with strengthening plate.
Pro alloy fuel cell with added external swirl pot, 2 lift pumps and 1 044 pump.
100mm top feed airtec intercooler and airtec radiator.
Interior comes complete with seats harnesses, gauges, relocated battery with box etc.
Car will be complete minus engine and ecu/ engine loom.

Exactly my thoughts, it's an epic car no doubt about it but it is a nieche market car. No doubt it has cost a lot of wonga to build. Trimmed track car shells are just not making the money atm. Shame to break such an iconic car, has its own look. Adding cos engine and box back in, say 4K makes £13+k car, good shout on a duratec or Zetec turbo instead, I assume you want to keep the cos lump for something else. Tough one.
I'm pretty realistic and understand if it isn't selling then it's probably to expensive so I'm open to offers.
I need to break it really but it's always nicer if it goes complete

This is now back up for sale now due to sales falling thru and then me changing my mind and deciding to keep it.
I'm now looking to sell it with more parts removed at a price depending on what stays on it. I want this gone so am open to offers on the shell.

Have you thought about putting it on some motor sport websites or forums? It has potential as a rally car of a hill climb car etc, could be someone looking for something unusual with potential. Reckon its an awesome car with you BTW.
