Default Ford Escort/Orion 1.8 Ghia X

Some of you may have seen this at ford fair on passionfords stand although its badged a escort it will always be a Orion to me, had no real plans of selling it until a family freind offered me his daily after treating himself to a new ST so after spending a good few quid on this in recent months getting it up to scratch its time to move on, so heres the good and bad of this future classic, was pretty stunned how much attention this car got at ford fair as it was parked near some real top end Fords too This a turn Key car ready to drive away whatever the distance

1.8 Zetec Ghia X A9TUE

I looked at ford fair even on the orion stand and did not see another so no doubt why so many people came up to me on passionfords stand asking questions about it which did surprise me

Looks lovely that. Rare in that spec!

I'd love it but I'd ruin it.

Yeah definitely looks a lovely thing. The kind of example that needs to be kept standard and looked after.

If I had somewhere to keep it locked up, I'd have bought it, but I just don't have the space currently, got too many cars already!

Those wheels suit it perfectly, I keep coming back here looking at the pics, but cannot justify the extra car i have, let alone another one. I've always had a soft spot for them since my first car which was an orion.

I did fit mondy 7x16s on it but then it looked like a gti rep so plummed for these multispokes 17s

I am pretty tempted to buy this and pug it away for a few years as orion prices have gone up massive and cars like yours are on the up too due to being rare

Would be such a crime to break this, it looks a great example of a car that's getting rare.

Final throw of the dice now £1100 as she stands with 17" alloys or £800 if you bring your own wheels
