My near mint mercury grey s2 is up for sale as I can't even look at it. Last year had a full 2ltr zetec conversion done, engine had done about 40000 miles. It's only done just over 200 miles since the conversion was done.It had a full body Resto about 3 years ago(previous owner) then not long before I brought it had new inter cooler , twin fan radiator, spec r header tank.t3 turbo running 8psi about 195 bhp.to go with engine it's had a new boost monkeys ecu, beige injectors. The interior is only let down by a small fag burn on drivers seat, the seats have been rebolsterd and feel great. I've painted the s1 wheels(not the best)same grey to see if they would suit! Bridge stones all round. Taxed for 4 months and mot till October . Needs a new heater matrix( I have one which will come with car) Brand new ap racing clutch, full s/s magnex exhaust , lowered 25mm. Chrome wiper motor cover, had the rocker cover powder coated to Match up with the custom made hoses that were made for the zetec convertion, Lockwood White dials, new clear front and side indicators, new kenwood stereo with iPod connection Sorry I'm not great at the tech stuff. Looking for around £4000 mark would consider swaps why! For some extra info on the engine resto look on : frenzy performance tuning( Facebook )Wayne Lewis . ^^^ Funny, I had a 73 MGBGT and 81 Spitfire that I got rid of for my Series 2, that didnt give me as much aggro as the series 2.

So much for 'unreliable' British Leyland cars eh?

I tried to relive my youth by getting another RS. But after chucking 3 grand at it in six months, the bitch still dont want to play. Im putting it up for sale, so someone else can finish the 1% to make her a show stopper, and Im going back to Leyland.

No rust , no lacquer peeling all it needs to make a1 is a couple of body kit rivets, the interior light wireing and if want a heater , the new heater matrix fitting. The head gasket will be done in the next couple of days and I'm sure Karl with will give it a once over before I get it back

It's not the money, done less than 250 miles since engine build(£4k) and it's been one problem after another to sort. Il give it another week or so and if I don't do a swap or sell il keep.just feel downhearted after so much money and haven't really driven it.

You need some decent pictures posting up, get some close up detail pictures showing the condition of the car, if people think/know the cars mint they will travel to buy it, the ones you have on don't show how straight it is, how good the paintwork is, what the common rot spots are like, just my opinion
