Fast Ford project - 24v V6 Sapphire for sale (NOW SOLD!)
SOLD SOLD SOLD
Hi -
I'm putting my Sapphire up for sale. As featured in the 'Staff Cars' section of Fast Ford magazine for the last 18months or so.
The car is actually an ex-press car - it was even featured on the cover of Autocar magazine back in 1987!
Anyway, since I got hold of it things changed! The car now has the following:
-2.9l 24v V6 (BOA) engine - as fitted by Top Boss Performance
-recently rebuilt hybrid MT75 'box
- brand new EBC clutch kit (only done 50 miles)
-Cossie 2wd rear beam, with Saph anti-roll bar and Cossie 2wd rear discs
- Cossie 7.5in 'Titan' plated diff (it's f**king awesome - best thing you can fit to a Sierra!), including polybush mount.
- Cossie 2wd 4-pot front brakes
- EBC discs and pads all round
- Avo coilovers all round
- Cossie 2wd front hubs and TCAs, with Powerflex polybushes
- Powerflex polybushes at rear
- Stainless steel Magnex exhaust system
- Full Recaro leather interior
- Comp MO5 8x17 alloys in anthracite (Et35) with very good Yokohama Parada Spec 2 tyres (loads of rubber left - like new!)
- Kenwood DAB headunit, with iPod controls and all the shizzle, also has an amp in boot powering 6x9s in rear and 5in door speakers.
The car is MOT'd for another 7 and a bit months (can't remember exact expiry date as I write this) and tax'd until end of November.
Car is on the road and works as it should. Bodywork is a bit tatty (but solid enough), and I think the exhaust is blowing a bit (just needs a new gasket between downpipe and manifold). Other than that it all works ok.
I'll be honest, I've just fallen out of love with the car and fancy a change.
Car is located in Bristol.
I know what it's worth in bits, but I really don't want the hassle of breaking the car. Therefore car is up for sale at £2000 ono.
Any questions just ask.

Not too bad on fuel - depends on how you drive it. Tbh, never actually calculated it - not really done enough miles to worry about it.
