G reg Escort 4 Convertible RS Turbo
I don't know what to say...
it's very nice old car ...
best thing for restoration, or just for a soul....
so...let's start...
M.O.T till 20 / 01/2013
TAX till 31/06/2012
I have this car only 3 months,but I'm really loved it, because it's not my first Cabby...
here we have some good things :
CAR IS 22 YEARS OLD IT'S NEVER BEEN WELDED !!! (and I don't see were it's need)
paint is in very good condition.
Power hydraulic roof is working perfectly.
Full spec RECARO .
Rear heated screen working perfectly.
Roof is almost new (previous owner sad that it's has change it on 000000 on speedo wint some engine gasket repairs )
Door power lock is fitted.
Power front windows.
Immobiliser system.
Heated front windscreen (but unfortunately it's stop working around week ago).
Original RS Turbo bonnet
Full RS Turbo body kit
Rear RS Turbo spoiler
Full SCORPION stainless steel exhaust system (i think it's 2.5" )
as You can see from engine picture - Silicone BOOST HOSE with BAILEY's dump valve (also I have 2 silicone boost hoses in blue , They also come with car )
Crome fuel filter cover
K&N AIR filter
Polished crossover pipe
Clear front indicators
Smoked side repeaters
Boost gauge .
MOMO style steering wheel (because of my dimensions)
KENWOOD CD player with AUX function (can connect MP3 player or Your phone with 3,5 jack cable which not include )
Front Pioneer 13.5 cm speakers(new, bought in 26 of December in Hallford and fitted by my friend)
5 RsT alloy wheels
now it have STANDARD ECU , but I have Chipped RS Turbo ECU which come with car (it was on the car , but without actuator&large intercooler it's don't have effect what I need)
so... when I bought , It don't have front inner plastic arch's , now it have !
It pass M.O.T. from 1 time without any problems (only small oil leak ).
also I have rear speaker's card (without grills and the largest holes )
and front speakers cards in black (with grills , but one is a little be broken(top part is cutted) if You want some photo - please contact to me via Ebay or email)
Lockwood speedo conversion.
Automatic antenna

now some bad things...
FIRST VERY BAD THING, IS THAT I NEED TO SALE THIS CAR !!!!!!
as You can see from photos - some small rust on the bonnet .
some little problems with paint on the plastic body kit in jack area.
little mark(rust) on the tailgate under the spoiler .
Wheels and Tyres is not like new (some have 4 - 7 mm), but it's passed M.O.T. (wheels is in good condition , but need for respray )
M.O.T mechanic says it's very nice and clean car for this age, also it have small noise from the top of the engine, He sad that it must be lifters in 99.9% )
as You can see from picture small plastic on the passenger seat is a little be broken)
Driver seat have some small holes from cigarettes (I'm not a smoker ).
o... small oil leaking from gearbox (mechanic sad it's driveshaft oil seal).
also I change door seals from another cabby.
rear speakers card are disfigured with 6X9 ellipse speakers (it.s look terrible, but sound great, I think to find original for it)
I almost forgot ... REV COUNTER stop working properly ..sometimes it's fine, sometimes is dead.(I 'll try to change it)
roof have very small scratch from inside over the clock.(as You can see from the photo)
it have holes from upper strut bar fitting, it was removed by previous owner

28.02.2012. - I found bonnet heat shield (very rare thing)
and genuine Ford steering wheel.
