PumKa - My Puma Powered Ka, Or may break...
Hey,
Ive been thinking this for a while now, and a cars come up for sale, im wanted to start a new project and the opportunitys to good to miss at the minute.
Ive done what i wanted to do with this car, ive had it coming up 3 years now, so now time to move on
Erm were do i start,
Its a 1999 finished in Amparo Blue, conversion was completed in 2000 when the car was just a year old!
Alan Hassle Motorsport done the conversion using a complete salvage 1998 1.7 Puma, ive spoke to Alan many of times, so if you want to ring him your more than welcome to for any more information on the conversion/car etc...
Its using a 1.7 Puma gearbox to keep original ratios, its on a custom top engine mount, custom gearbox mounts using original Puma ecu etc...
Its got a full custom made cat-back exhaust by Longlife was about £380 when fitted,
Focus Rs rear discs with EBC Greenstuff pads,
280mm Crossdrilled and groved front dics,
I will add a spec list further down
Alans website is,
http://www.alan-hassell-motorsport.co.uk/
I bought the car back in August 2009, ive have EVERY single receipt, mot, tax discs etc from new. Its got Full Service History from new.
Its been featured in Performance Ford May 2003, with a 6 page centre feature, its also been featured in Fast Ford aswell.
Its had a full service about a month ago and also new front pads about 70 miles ago, so still bedding in.
The coilovers are Ap's there about a year old (still got receipt) there on custom made eccentric metal top mounts,
It has front and back OMP strut braces,
The seats are full leathers out of a Sapphire Coswroth, on Sparco subframes all FIA approved, rear seats match, so do the front door cards,
The bumpers were smoothed and painted about 3 months ago, the colour match is spot on, the front bumpers were smoothed by cutting the recess out and brining it forward and plastic welded it in placed and finished. The dashboard was taken out and re-flocked at the same time, along with alot of other minor work including a new rad, tyres and a few other bits and bobs.
Not sure what else to say about this car, its always been looked after clean and polished/waxed regularly.
Being one of the top end Ka's it has electric windows, air con and other little bits and bobs.
I havnt got no recent pics, so some are old and some are up to date, i will update them, very soon.
None of the stereo system will be coming with the car, its worth in excess of over a £1000 so i will be keeping that,
Also the number plate will be staying with me, but could be bought with the car if wanted...
