Corsa 1.2 16valve,12 months Mot,6 months tax,pas,£600 no offers
Hi all, mods,I did advertise this before but rather than resurrect the thread as it's old and would need loads of editing I'm starting a fresh one,I'm still within my allowance of 4 cars, but hopefully this will not count double.
Right,now to the car.
Been great to me this car but a change in circumstances mean that I'm almost certainly going to need a van, maybe a big one!!!
Anyway,as per title taxed, tested and ready to roll in continuous daily use.no mechanical issues, does 40-45mpg,uses no oil or water, starts 1st time in snow, rain, ice -15degrees etc yet never overheats, generally runs at 88degrees but climbs (correctly) to 95-96 when the fan cuts in,perfect.
It's in good condition bodywise, there's no major dents or deep scratches but there's a bit of rust, the worst bit on the drivers rear door edge about 50p size and a few smaller scabs on the front drivers, pass doors are fine oddly?
There's rust on the leading edge of the bonnet, which is very common on corsas, not rotten in any way though.
Never been welded but did have an advisory for a small patch under the rear floor, but obviously not bad as no Mot centre in the world would take a risk on rust,I certainly couldn't see it.
The only other advisory was a slight brake imbalance,no fails though, went through 1st time.
It's got epas steering which is great, central locking,sunroof,clock/temp thing on the centre dash and a rev counter, that's about it but less to go wrong I suppose!!!
It's a great car to drive, really nippy as well,I regularly do Swansea to Aberdeen and I do it in 9 hrs at say 80-90 average which is 600 miles, car never misses a beat, heaters are awesome too.
I pulled the sale before due to not putting in antifreeze and doing the waterpump in,that's all sorted now along with a brand new rad as the old one started weeping, looked like it had a pee everytime you parked it up and with my mileage I took no chances.
Fresh antifreeze in it too.
In fact new parts are:
56k(when fitted)engine/box (reciept/contact details available)
Rad
Waterpump
Plugs(twice)
Oil(twice)
Filters(twice)
Rocker cover gasket(after I sprayed it high temp black)
Oil pressure switch
Box oil
Expansion bottle hose
Tyres
Battery
I'll get the pics up tommorow after I've cleaned the interior as it has a large amount of crap in it!!!!
Please no offers, unless it's a swap for a van as it's priced right, after all it's a small car with powersteering,a years ticket and 6 months tax!!!
While I remember, car done 123000 but goes up daily, although bear in mind engine box around 68k now and it's s reg,s759jwo in brocade yellow,a yellowy gold colour, you'll recognise it when I put the pics up!!

Right, heard nothing about this despite several messages and its meant to go this weekend.
I`ve committed to buy a transit off here so this now for sale for a one off price of £525 delivered plus train fare home or to Aylesbury dependent on whether I can still do the deal with Rich on the transit as this was the price agreed with the other party involved, which is giving the fucking thing away.
If anyone wants it,it`s a £50 non refundable deposit via paypal as I`m getting sucked off with messers now.

you won't go wrong with a old tranny apart from rust but filler is cheap and does not go up in price like diesel so you can afford to wallop it on

Yeah fair play,I've had a few messers on this one,why I don't know,I thought small cars with pas, taxed and a years ticket were sought after?
Still,it went in the end to a genuine buyer so I hope he gets as little hassle as I had with it!!!
