Moondust silver 4x4 Cosworth
Here is my really nice example of a 4x4 sapphire cosworth. Before i start i will say that this car was a CAT D loss in 2010 so you can decide from here if you wish to continue reading this? The car had a knock on the n/s front wing this was replaced with a genuine Ford wing & all done to a very high standard, Only visable (if you look underneath that is) damage is a dent in the floor pan where the wing meets the sill.
The car has: 2 previous owners, 114,000 miles with every MOT & tax disc, Original bill of sale from Spruce Howlett in Norwich with matching rear dealer plate. 12 months MOT passed with NO advisories, 4 months tax. There is a really good history with this car, lots of receipts from reputable companies for work/servicing thats been carried out including Power engineering, Torque or the devil & MA developements. The car had a complete top end rebuild in 2008 with all receipts to prove receipts total over £5k just for service work. The car is not far off standard the only mods being are Full Koni adjustables, Full magnex exhaust, Blue boost hoses & a dump valve. I have the original hoses & ford radio (cd player fitted).
Runs fantastic not 1 bit of smoke on start up or on boost, No noises ever including NO piston slap at all. Overall a very tight, strong engine & running gear.
Bodywork is EXELLENT for a 20 year old car & only a few minor age related marks, The rear arches are solid as is the boot lid, inner wings & chassis rails. Paintwork is shiney & overall very very good just a few tiny blisters on the roof but i mean tiny! Just want to be honest.
Interior is raven cloth (The best IMO) & would be mint if not for a very slight wear & a burn to the drivers seat, all door cards are good & hole free just a very slight shrinkage to the drivers door card. Usual bit of sagging to the roof lining.
Good clean standard wheels with good tyres, COMPS NOT INCLUDED.
Everything on the car works, all electrics etc, this was serviced just before Santa pod this year using Silkolene Pro oil, genuine Ford oil filter & plugs, New rocker gasket & header tank & New air & water temp sensors. Covered no more than 200 miles since so the car is ready to go!
Im trying to think of anything else i may has forgotten but if your genuinly intrested then give me a call for a chat.
This is a truely great example of a cosworth & i would be asking for a alot more if this was HPI clear BUT the car IS WHAT IT IS which are rarely seen as well looked after as this.
I know for the purist a CAT D car is a no go but i cant emphasise enough what a nice car this is.
Thanks any questions please feel free to call or text 07956-082-784.
Price is £5,300....ono. I will included a complete stage 3 kit with MSD chip if i get very near to the asking price.
Hope this gets the response it deserves.....
Also i have the front n/s jacking cover, a new gear gaiter & the screw cover on the centre consul!!!

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
The previous owner of this car lives up the road from me, its a tidy car and the damage wasnt that bad, the front wing was the worst bit and the rear quater looks to have come out nice.

No it didn't mate I pulled it off early as it wasn't looking like making the money I want.
Getting ridiculous offers too for straight swaps for rubbish £2k cars! but that's the joy of eGay I suppose!
Will carry on using it while the weathers good then try & sell it again if not I'll have to break it unfortunately.
Really can't believe it's not sold just because it was a Cat D?
I've had cars that have been in serious accidents in the past but not recorded & never had a problem selling

Try it on a classified add on ebay with best offer as i put mine i bought to build as a track car on there no tax and test been standing with a coupe of dents and brakes siezed history and all that jazz had 78 watchers and got bid 3500 and sold in a week. You always can tell the serious people as they ring but as you say had 30 odd emails for swaps and px but some of them were good. Had some snooters turn up that people said were mint though but as they travelled to me the only time wasted was theirs.
Yours on the other hand can be driven away looks mint etc so an easier sell in my opinion
Alot of clowns out there and its that time of year where people are paying for holidays etc.
I also tried to sell my civic type r put at reasonable money in a month not one call. I emailed a few people as i wanted a mini cooper s for the wife and managed to swap it for one of those. The old petrol situation isnt helping either!
Bide you time it will go mate. With ebay a following week can be a whole load of new buyers etc.
Cheers

I had no joy with mine although I only put it on here, not sure what people are expecting right now for the money but I decided not to let it go for nothing.
I don`t think the £4500 offer was too cheeky though?
Might be worth converting it to rwd if thats the only issue?I believe its quite straightforward.

My ideal situation would be to convert it to 2wd & up the power BUT thinking of buying another house so would need the money... Will see how it goes there's no particular hurry!

These pics are from fiesta in the park, cambelt was done in 2008 but only covered a few thousand miles in that time & still looks new. No Pics of the damage only of the car in primer.
