Default 2wd Cosworth Moonstone blue.

Selling my track car to concerntrate on my road car, 1990 2wd cosworth in moonstone blue. No tax or MOT as it was being built for track only but only needs rear seat belts for MOT. Milage reads 78k but not sure if this genuine will check through properly & update later.
Solid shell not ever seen a welder & wont need to for many years, all original wings & front panal. good paint, arches are MINT as a chassis rails. full leather although not great its not bad but interior could do with abit of tidying.

Engine: 205 block, Rebuilt last october with new 4x4 cosworth racing pistons, all new bearings, rings etc. Fully rebuilt head with cometic head gasket, t3 hybrid with -34, full mongoose exhaust, stage 3 kit, samcos, Bailey breather, alloy header tank, Collins alloy engine mounts ( but not the bailey 1 in pic), new battery, new front calipers, new ABS pump & master cylinder, new fuel pump.

The car has had everything underneath set up up for track. It has AVO coilovers, solid front alloy top mounts (see engine bay pic) & adjustable TCA's. Has near new front brakes including calipers, recent fitted 4x4 rear brake set up (vented discs).

Overall this is a really good car, Its solid with good paint, very good engine & turbo, very smooth t5 gearbox & a good quiet diff.

It does need a few things doing but nothing big. The idle speed control valve (ISCV) is not working at all but car still starts on the button & runs fine, the car is very stiff so not great on our rough roads! so would need to refit the standard top mounts to make it abit more comfortable to drive.

Lots of receipts for work done & parts bought including head rebuild, long stud kit, solid top mounts & adjustable TCA's + much more.

Will source some rear seat belts & MOT tuesday, Ive been over this & with the seat belts fitted should absolutly fly an mot.

£3995 MOT'd or £3850 without.

Car is located in Kent DA16

Just going by the paperwork with the car mate & TBH wasnt aware you could'nt long stud a 205 block!

The rebuild was done by the previous owner & theres all receipts for parts & im sure 1 for the rebuild too.

Will check anyway..

thats fair enough; you def cant long stud a 205 block, there simply isnt enough meat on them.

you may have a 200 block & it has been long studded, or the previous owner was bigging up the spec and simply lied!

Don't think he had much reason to lie tbh, there's definatly receipts for the long stud kit so may well be a 200 block I'll have to check as I couldn't see properly when I bought the car as it was under poor light.
