1989 escort rs turbo 11 months mot and 6 months tax
for sale is my escort s2 turbo, im looking for arround £2200 for it, 11 months mot and 6 months tax
it has had a freash engine rebuild 6000miles ago including new accralite 81mm forged pistons, re-bore, re-ground crank, acl big ends, ae mains, new op, wp, belt's, gaskets, full bottom end balance incl crank, fly, clutch cover. rods and pistons assembled then weighed and matched. the cylinder head has had all the valves re-ground. and skimmed it has had a new standard cam and lifters fitted. all gaskets and bolts are bga standard spec. its had a new standard turbo fitted as well. its running standard boost at the min and would benefit from a full set up. ther is lots of history with car and lots of rr printouts for 170 bhp prior to the engine build. i would have had it set up but there is no one local who will entertain rusty fords! lol.
approx 1000 miles ago i fitted a new ap 4 paddle drive plate with the standard cover. i also fitted a recon ib5 gearbox which is still under garuntee. 1yr unlimited millage. i also baught all the parts seperatly to build a complete new gear selector mechanism so the change is "as new". complete selector units are no longer available from ford.
wheels are tsw evo r's 16" with new 195/45/16 avon zv5 on the front and nearly new nangkang (budget's) on the rear
brakes are mondeo mk3 front calipers with st170 disks, standard rears. all shoes, cylinders, pads, discs are new, new wheel bearings all round, new lower arms, new standard front shocks, old koni rears
standard interior with oil, boost, and innovate widebahd afr guage. dash has had various holes in it in the past and is a little taty, a replacement is supplied if required. upgraded speakers front and rear.
under the bonnet is full of various chrome and stainless parts and polished parts, it has a pace doouble cap intercooler, the radiator was treated to a fresh core last year. its fitted with mostly rouse hoses the rest are standard. it has a stainless exhaust straight through with front flexy.
all the engine sensors are brand new except the air temp, air flow and knock, the main ecu is supperchiped the fuel is standard. grp a coil with msd leads and ford motorsport 701 plugs.
theres prob lots more i will add when i remember.
the car currenly has no tax but has 12months mot
for got to add it has a cat 1 alarm and imobiliser with certificate. it was fitted 6 months ago aprox and is still uner garuntee. it is a total closure one and cost over £300
the car is not mint and will prob never be as it has had a fair bit of welding done in the past but is now solid. it is still a usable rs, and is used all year round.
i can be contacted on 07840619208 thanks for looking, richard

Hi,
We have a 2001 Vauxhall Vectra 2.6 V6 SRI Estate in grey, its done 128.000ish miles with a full service history, MOT till Aug 2011 and tax 4months ish. Its a 2001 Y plate, in over all good con, but does have the odd mark as expected for its age. Its has all the SRI extras. half leather, a/c t/c elec windows, tow bar, boot cover, alloys, cruise control, multi CD unit. Returns around 20mpg on a town run and upto 40mpg on a long run. Would you be interested in a swap?
