Default MY COSSIE (SOLD) / STU @ MSD'S COSSIE IS NOW FOR SALE PAGE 2

Its time to sell my pride and joy after owning it for nearly 3 years and due to house commitments its time for it to go, i brought the car a half finished project the shell is a 2.0 dohc 4x4 ghia the guy who i brought it from started to convert it for cheap insurance but lost interest so i brought it and is still that on the logbook,the car has tax till end of january 07 and m.o.t till 24th of january 07, the drives perfect and is what i would say a good example well here u go the spec is as follows:

engine:

rebuild 4000 miles ago when i worked at JAMSPORT
mahle forged pistons skimmed to raise compression with valve cut outs
graham goode high flow oil pump
reground crank with new bearings and shims
arp con rod bolts
arp flywheel bolts
arp stud and nut kit
cometic metal head gasket
ported head with matching manifold ports, 3 angle valve seats
vernier pulleys
new cambelt and tensioner
double valve springs
bd 14 inlet cam, standard exhaust cam
new hydrolic lifters
swedish style inlet manifold
cometic inlet gasket
all new ford gaskets through out
turbo technics t38 turbo with 2wd manifold
2wd ford turbo heatshield
pipercross air filter
full stainless exhaust with no middle box
bailey breather kit
bailey turbo damper
all new engine sensors
closed loop lamda set up
black siemens 830 lb injectors
motorsport developments air injector driver & air injector
l8 ecu live mapped by motorsport developments
radtec rs500 intercooler
stainless header tank
stainless power steering tank
stainless cap covers
stainless bonnet plates

Transmission:

totally standard gearbox and diffs
b&m short shift
ap 6 paddle clutch plate
heavy duty clutch cover
ford release bearing

Suspension:

avo coilovers with complete polybushed front end

Brakes:

Front: grooved discs with red stuff pads

Back: grooved discs with green stuff pads

all braided brakelines thrughout.


wheels and tyres:

diamond cut 7 spokes with goodyear f1 tyres front tyres and falken tyres rear tyres

bodywork:

delocked doors
quad headlamps
laguna front splitter

Interior:

ford racing boost gauge
ford racing oil pressure gauge
ford racing voltage gauge
rs plate in heated vent
pioneer twin screen cd player
full leather interior

Security:

Catagory one toad alarm and immobiliser with certificate

Bad points: (every car has got them)

wheels have got some scuffs on nothing major they were like that when i brought them, stone chip in the windscreen might not be m.o.t fail, back bumper has got a slight mark on corner has been touched up and u wudnt tell unless i pointed it out to you, mirror glass has got a slight crack in it, front number plate has got a crack in it 2 cm's big, bodywork has a couple of marks on it (a couple of stone chips), nothing major but im bein honest with all the slight faults it has.



i will be really sad to see her go but the time has come, i have maintained this car regardless of cost everything its needed it has had, if there is anything i have missed dont hesitate to ask, so if u are interested pm me.

think of the time and money you have spent on the car whats it stand you at now?

surely a modified car with the mods declared will cost lots more to insure then the genuine article,or they did when i was a lad unless you dont tell the insurance and then your in a whole world of pain if you crash

sure have and ive just about come back down to earth after the little test run

that was my first experience in a cossie

never felt anything pull so clean and strong through the gears

good job i had some spare pants

The logbook issue wouldnt bother me

If it said cossie on the logbook it wouldnt be that cheap , so IMO , its a very good deal

it could say fiat uno 950cc for all id care
