2 Fiesta XR2's, MK1 Turbo & MK2 Carb - to go together
These cars will be sold together ONLY
First up..
1989 MK2 Xr2 in Grey
Resto a couple of years ago including new front wings, arches, doors, bonnet & boot + complete respray.
detailed engine bay
Original Ford spots
14" RS1800 wheels with 4 great tyres
13" XR2 pepperpots with 4 Great tyres
Special edition XR2i Recaros
White dials
Sigma Catergory 1 thatcham alarm
central locking
Brand new discs & pads
Brand new bottom ball joints
Oil & filter changed every 3000miles
SOLID shell
Drives excellent and is a real looker will include private plate A16 XRR
Bad bits...
tiny bit of rust bubble on bottom corner of drivers door
downpipe gasket blowing a bit but i will include a new one with car
Thats it
10 months MOT - didnt need a single thing to get through
4 months tax
The MK1 Xr2
SOLID shell, NO ROT AT ALL
NON sunroof model
Flappy out quarter windows
Fiesta Centre 5 speed kit and CVH engine mount conversion
Stripped out apart from dash
1990 RS Turbo engine and box
Fiesta centre swirl pot fuel tank
Both ECU's are mounted INSIDE the car
MK2 brake conversion - pedal bar, servo and master cylinder (so cvh will fit)
Runs and drives
side exit exhaust (temporary)
BAD BITS
Doesn't Stop , brakes dont work, dont know why!! bleed up, good pedal but just dont want to stop the fooker
Front panel has been totally butchered
no fan belt
exhaust not completed
front passenger wing dent in front corner
THE IDEA IS TO SELL THEM AS A PAIR so you could have a REALLY nice mk2 turbo (if you want to swap all the bits over, a weekends work and everything is there ) or a really nice mk2 xr2 and a mk1 xr2 trackday car if you get the brakes and exhaust sorted.
Both cars have V5's, the mk1 is Sorned and would require trailering away as brakes dont work.
Mk2 is used everyday and never missed a beat
i want £1750 for the pair, will not split.

I am now going to put all the turbo bits on my mk2 and sell the mk1 xr2 as a cvh project with all the bits in the boot that i take off the mk2... as i cant be arsed refitting them
offers around £400 for it with all bits to make it a cool mk1 xr2 trackday car
or ebay it goes

the mk1 now has been broken for useful turbo parts...

so should have a mint xr2 soon, gonna keep it as my sunnyday car...
quite possibly for sale in the future for the right price though
