It wouldn't be fair to name the lad Pete but it's not Kev, Shawn or that gorgeous fella tony

The site has always been hosted by a third party that hosted quite a few sites off a server so there's a few sites gone offline. Kev, Shawn and Tony will be doing their utmost to get back online as soon as possible as there's nowhere in the www that caters for the mk3 escort/16i/S1 as well as they do.

be nice to have seriesoneturbo back on line, you dont realize how helpful the topics were on there for us mk3 owners, dont know why some people only want to slag it off. ive restored 4 seriesones in the past and one on the go now and always had loads of very good info and parts of members.

Talking

Most of you will be pleased to know / see we have some progress
We have a landing page back up whilst we complete the transition to the new server, so members and new visitors can now see we are still about and will be open for service soon.

Even with some negative comments about admin not only here but elsewhere on the net, I'm really pleased the site has some members who do appreciate what it represents and how useful it was.

I'm not sure on the timescale yet, especially with the Bank Holiday but we're getting there.

Thanks to every one for their patience, the site is back now in theory, although it is currently turned off so we can move stuff about, so please be a little more patient !..... there may be some additional down time as the gremlins are sorted out But longterm we have made sure this issue can not happen again.
Thanks go to a very nice man for sorting this issue for us , he knows who he is & as said above , the guy who is ill, at present is ok.
Thanks also to Passionford, admin/mods for letting this stay here, helping people stay informed.

I like how the tags have been deleted but the RSOC tag remains. PF fools at it again?

Well done to those from S1 forum.

We're back up and open now. Still some updates to do, but it's usable. Any problems logging back in please let us know via the "contact us" link on the bottom of our page.
As Tony said, thanks to the PF guys for allowing us to keep people informed.

When I go to the Seriesoneturbo website where you log in it says 'Not secure' in the address bar?
On Passionford it is secure...

Good question. Firstly, we're being temp hosted, which will change the link until we're re-homed permanently.
Secure sites are mostly for ones that allow payments, like banks, paypal, ebay etc. High level security is vital. I'm not aware of people posting that type of detail on the site so it probably wouldn't warrant that once we're fully moved, but I will ask our new tech guy the question. Thanks
