feckin snow....
just started snowing here again
whats the weather/ roads like all the way down the A1 from edinburgh to peterborough? i have to deliver my 3 door down to harveys to have an engine firted for the new owner..... would like to do it this week...

never cover a car with anything if its being towed on an open trailer, as the cover will polish the paint off the edges as its buffeted by the wind!
as for snow, we had about 10 mins worth in swindon, but then it turned to rain. melted a fair bit now, but still a lot of ice around.
shame tho, i love the snow lol

It's snowing quite hard up here again. I don't really want it but I have to say I've enjoyed my couple of 'snow days' off because of my office being closed, and I still get paid so it's not all bad.

I drove newcastle to dunblane today in 1 hr 50 mins - roads were okay.
Arrived back home at 1:30pm ish (latest weather update I can give)

kev, its started to snow here again, and small roads are bad, just been told we wont have any salt/grit on the roads till wednesday either !
its forcast to snow mid week, you may be best coming down nearer end of the week, thurs,fri,saturday

Had about 1inch here tonight. (7 miles from A1M) Main roads should be clear, back roads and minor roads may have some small accumulations on them.
