Modified my battery tray to work with the clearances the ROUSH kit is giving me to work with, and got these cutouts deburred early this morning.

The Coup De Gras... I also prepped once the car is tuned and "known-good" I'm installing this carbon fiber valve cover. The guy (Paul) with the c.f. Mk1 RS oughtta get one of these!

I took the cutouts to work early this morning to address the deburring. I'm hoping to re-purpose these as simple drip trays. The easy solution is large magnets to seal the hood, but I'd like to get a more OEM solution figured out.

The heat shield fit easily; that oil catch can did not! I'm gonna have to make something to fit, or buy (ugh!) one that solves this dilemma in a more efficient manner!
