not new you say? believe me it was new. also new and unused, original crank. new stud and nut kits top and bottom new mahle standard sized pistons and rings etc etc lol

on close inspection we found my 200 block to be cracked in two places, luckily a mate spotted this beaut on fb and snapped it up, 6 hours to brum and back and it was down to my engine builders! gone standard compression, standard mahle pistons and rings, full engine spec to be listed at a later date, as im still buying bits!

with the welding complete ( very little was needed tbh) next up was stone chip and paint to the underside.

this is it for now, although i do have the rear complete and rolling. Took the front set up to the powdercoaters and should be fitting it at the weekend, once rolling, its back into the paint shop, for body paint! going for a jewel violet, my favourite colour and should stand out at the shows nicely!!!

Some pics from this weeks blasting project, a 28 foot yacht! All metal work stripped back completely and any rust removed, but the hull was fibreglass so we had to be careful taking the anti fouling and paintwork off, without damaging the fibreglasses gel coating
