This car has been fully rebuilt from an already good shell. Originally a black 1300e body modifications: the body has been seam welded and has a 6-point safety devices roll cage fitted, with door bars. Rear aluminum firewall, with aluminum 12 gallon fuel tank in the boot. Both strut tops have been replaced along with big dif and transmission tunnels. The bubble arches are fiberglass and the car retains a new, but as original vinyl roof. The bonnet has 20 stamped louver panels, no filler etc, and the front panel has been made removable on framework to allow removal of intercooler. The front panel has multiple cooling holes. Both front and rear number plates are metal and the boot and bonnet have pins/springs. The car has also been de-bumpered. The car has been full repainted in original ford black. Also fitted is a clubman spec alloy sump guard, steel diff guard and internally routed brake pipes and fuel lines. Also fitted is a 2.25 lock-to-lock quick rack. interior: the interior is stripped and features 2 sparco sprint seats with four point luke harnesses. The front door panels are carpeted for comfort with map pockets with the rear interior panels being carbon fiber. The dash and center console and switch panel have all been made from carbon fiber and feature aluminum toggle switches and custom gauges including oil pressure/temp combined gauge, boost pressure, water temp, volts, and combined sta design rev counter and digital speedo. The car has been fully rewired with fuse boxes mounted on the center console and relays just in front of passenger seat. Also inside are a helmet net aluminum battery tray on dif tunnel and fire extinguisher in front of drivers seat. The car also has a fly off handbrake with hydraulic master cylinder, although currently not connected. The car has an adjustable pedal box with dash mounted brake bias adjustment. powertrain: the engine was taken from a rear end smash j-plate sierra sapphire and has had new valves and seats just before i bought it, although no receipts for this work. This was done at p j motorsport. It was rebuilt with a competition head gasket and a stage one amhed bayjoo chip. Approx 280bhp i'm lead to believe. The gearbox has been fully rebuilt less then 300 miles ago buy cts and was refitted with an ap fast road clutch, re machined flywheel and arp flywheel bolts. The engine loom is standard and has simply been spliced into the new car loom. The exhaust is a scorpion down pipe and back box with custom 3-inch system in between. The oil breather is aluminum and features the extra breather in the rocker cover. Up front there is a group 4-aluminum radiator and rs 500 aluminum intercooler along with a k&n cone filter and blitz dump valve. The dump valve is fully rebuild able and can be adjusted for its blow off point etc. The prop shaft is custom from reco prop and has been spec'd up to approx 500bhp. The rear dif is a narrow atlas 50" with capri lsd and 3.53:1 ratio. This has been rebuilt and adjusted to suit a fast road and track day application. The wheels all round are 8 x 15 wheller steels that have be repainted white. All tyres have less then 1000 miles on them and are in exceptional condition. All tyres are toyo t1 r's 205/50/15 up front and 225/50/15 on the rear. All brakes are from a sierra 2wd cosworth, 4 pots, with pagid blue pads and rally design discs up front and standard discs and pads at the rear. The front calipers have been rebuilt using new seals and bells and painted blue. The front suspension is from a 2.8 capri, which have been converted to height adjustable platforms to run 2.25" springs. Currently 160lbs. Compression struts have been fitted to ease engine installation and the anti roll bar has been mounted on drop links to the lower arms. At the rear de-cambered capri leaf springs with poly bushes and gaz adjustable shocks with anti tramp bars and a panhard rod. The rear is currently sitting on 1" lowering blocks. .
